Bursting Voices: Ancient and Contemporary
The Westside Chamber Players present Bursting Voices: Ancient and Contemporary, a celebration of composers Sofia Ouyang, Geli Li, and Kaija Saariaho, along with a reimagined arrangement of Hildegard von Bingen’s Rex Noster Promptus Est. The program also features Janáček’s Mládí (‘Youth’), a woodwind sextet reflecting the composer’s memories of 1865-1875.

Tradition and Transformation
The Westside Chamber Players are thrilled to welcome Sofia Ouyang as our new Music Director for her inaugural season. Our opening concert will showcase 2024-25 Call for Scores winner Bobby Ge, pianist Lucas Amory, and Schoenberg's Chamber Symphony No. 2, in a concert that considers the intricate relationship between time and music.

Saint Peter's Presents WCP
We are thrilled to announce our first collaboration: Saint Peter's University presents WCP!
We will be performing some favorites from our November and December concerts and featuring Hannah Sohn on Haydn Cello Concerto in C. This concert is generously funded by the Frank and Lydia Bergen Foundation and we are so grateful for this opportunity to play in such a beautiful venue. Please join us on March 28, 7pm at St. Aedan’s: The Saint Peter’s University Church (800 Bergen Avenue, Jersey City) for a lively evening of music! Admission is free to the public.
